Several years ago we were asked by a client to develop a global post-production system to localize TVC and digital media efficiently and securely, all while maintaining absolute quality control.

We started with 4 TV ads and 6 counties - 24 deliverables.

The work involved adjusting content for cultural sensitivities, replacing UI screens on devices with local languages, VFX and CG alterations of people (e.g. removing tattoos, piercings, covering shoulders, etc.), changing background signage, removing logos, replacing title cards, re-recording VO and mixing.

Soon, the number of countries doubled, requiring multiple versions and delivery formats. To keep this exponential complexity straight, we developed a project management system specifically engineered for tagging and localization on a global scale.

In our busiest year, we shipped over 23,000 deliverables in every conceivable digital format, TV standard, and aspect ratio.
